The wish of management and staff is for all guests to be able to enjoy a safe, happy, friendly and relaxing stay whilst at the park. Be considerate of others and ensure your accommodation/site and belongings are kept secure and tidy at all times. Please read the following which applies to all guests or invited guests (visitors).
AMENITIES : Are situated throughout the park and are accessed by key. All amenity buildings are shown on the reverse side map. All children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult and be supervised at all times. Please consider others when using these facilities by leaving them in a neat and tidy condition.
ARRIVAL /CHECK IN : We look forward to welcoming you any time after 2pm on the day of your scheduled arrival.
BABY BATH : Is located in Amenities Block 2 (north) – see park map for location.
BALL GAMES : All ball games (cricket, soccer, football, etc.) are to be played on the adjacent reserve. This reserve is located south of the main car park at the entrance of the park.
BBQ AREAS : There are several FREE BBQ areas provided throughout the park. Please leave area clean after your use.
BICYCLES /SCOOTERS /ROLLER BLADES: These are allowed during daylight hours but guests should observe all the road rules including the wearing of helmets and necessary protective gear. CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES. These items are not to be used in the main entrance/exit area and the main road in the park. An in–house licence is needed for all guests to use & enjoy these items within the property. SKATEBOARDS ARE NOT PERMITTED.
BOOM GATE : Please use your boom gate code for entry and exit through the boom gates. These are erected for the safety and security of all guests. Please do not tail through the gate after another vehicle. Failure to comply with this may result in damage to your vehicle and our boom gate. Damage to our boom gate will be the responsibility of the guest. Please do not give out your boom gate code to any other person.
BUSINESS : We understand that from time to time work may interrupt our guests while on holidays, so to ensure your business needs are met swiftly and efficiently, please visit us in reception for your phone messages/fax/photocopying/mail/internet requirements. Unfortunately messages will not be delivered to guests on site.
CAMP KITCHEN : There is a camp kitchen situated within the park for your convenience. Please leave clean after your use. See map for location.
COIN CHANGE : Available from reception for laundries during reception hours.
DEPARTURE /CHECK OUT : All rooms/sites to be vacated by 10am on the day of your departure. All keys are to be returned to reception on check out. Upon departure, the key and any other security deposits will be refunded to guests provided the keys and/or hired items are returned in original condition upon check out. Please keep your receipt issued on arrival as proof of deposits paid. Any keys not returned on departure, will be replaced at the expense of the guest. Please note: all keys in the park are keyed to a master set and cost approx $300 to replace.
Early departures: Should you wish to check out before reception opens, please make alternate arrangements the day before. If you would like to extend your stay (depending on availability) – please do so before 10am.
DISHES : Should be washed in the sinks provided in the camp kitchen and BBQ areas. Please do not use the laundry tubs to wash dishes.
DUMP POINT : See map for location. Please use our dump point to discard of waste matter from – porta loos, motor homes or caravan toilets. Please do not empty these in our amenity blocks or ensuites. Please leave clean after your use.
FIRES : No open fires are to be lit at any time.
GENERATORS : The use of generators is not permitted.
GO KARTS: Please use in the designated areas as shown on park map. These items cannot be used in main entry/exit area and main road in park, (see exclusion areas). All road rules apply and CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES. Guests must also wear helmets as supplied.
GUESTS : All guests shall accept liability for themselves, their children, furniture, fixtures, all fittings in accommodation; fair wear & tear exempt.
KIOSK: Basic grocery items can be purchased from our kiosk, or the closest supermarkets are Foodland/IGA on Brighton Road.
LAUNDRY : The laundry block has coin operated washing machines and driers for your use. The laundries are access by key. Please do not erect temporary clothes lines on your site/accommodation, they WILL NOT BE PERMITTED. Ironing boards are located in each laundry & some accommodation. Irons are available for hire from reception. Washing powder is available for purchase from reception.

MESSAGES : Phone messages are listed on the message board in reception.
PARKING : Is allocated for most sites/accommodation (one car space per site/ accommodation). Please park your vehicle in this allotted position and not on the roadways. (Boats will only be accepted on site providing they fit and are pre–approved by management). Visitors should park their car in the visitor parking area at the front of the property. No visitor cars are allowed in the park without consent from management.
PETS : We are pleased to advise that we are a dog friendly park in our quiet periods, please see more information here.
PLAYGROUND: Is available for use during daylight hours and not before 8am.
PHOTOGRAPHY : During your stay, you and/or your child(ren) may be photographed by our staff. The taking of photographs is for the purposes of internal records/advertising/ marketing opportunities. Please advise our photographer at the time if you do not wish for your photo to be taken.
QUIET TIME : Please be respectful of the enjoyment of others within the park by restricting noise from television, music and social gatherings between the hours of 10pm and 8am.
RECEIPTS : Please retain the receipt issued to you on arrival. This validates your length of stay and any bonds/deposits that may be refundable on your departure.
RECEPTION HOURS : 8am – 5.30pm (7 days). Closed Christmas Day. Hours may vary during the months of Oct – Mar.
REFUND/CANCELLATION : Details of our policy is available at reception. Please be aware that we are unable to refund any monies for late arrivals, early departures or in the event of inclement weather.
RELEASE : Subject to any rights, which cannot be excluded under the Trade Practices Act or similar State Legislation, I/we covenant and agree to indemnify and hold harmless, release and forever discharge this holiday park, its owners, managers, servants, agent and third party providers any claim, cost and expenses which any guest, their children or their visitors might have in respect of or arising out of participation/ and or use of holiday park activities, events, functions, hire equipment or any facilities including but not limited to negligence, a claim for damages of loss of life, personal injury, medical expenses, mental or nervous shock, or property damage which may be caused or suffered by the guest, their children or their visitors. In the event of any illness or injury to the guest, their children or their visitors, I/we authorise the holiday park, or any person to whom the holiday park delegates to obtain medical treatment considered necessary.
RESTAURANTS , BARS , CAFÉ’S: There are plenty of restaurants/bars/café’s in our area. Please see any one of our friendly staff for our local favourites.
RISK WARNING : The management wishes to warn occupants, guests and other persons including visitors of registered guests who engage in any recreational activity, within the meaning of the Civil Liability Act 2002 in, on or near the park, that the pursuit of such activities may result in harm or personal injury. All persons who engage in recreational activities, park activities, events, functions, use of hire equipment or use of any facilities do so at their own risk. Guests remain responsible for visitors to the Holiday Park at all times.
RUBBISH : Is collected from the park several times per week. Please assist staff by having your rubbish securely wrapped and placed in bins provided. We also ask for your assistance with our recycling program. Please put the correct items in the correct bins to help us do our bit for the environment.
SAFETY : For the safety of all guests, we require that all minors are back at their registered accommodation/site by 10pm. Should children/teenagers be wandering around park grounds after this time they may be challenged as to their identity and site/ accommodation. Adults/parents are responsible for all minors in their care. Groups of young persons are not allowed to congregate in common areas unsupervised or after dark. Brighton Caravan Park shall not be responsible for personal injury or be liable to compensate guests or their visitors.
SECURITY : Please be wary of security. Lock your cars and accommodation/site when you leave them. Management cannot accept responsibility for theft of personal possessions and shall not be liable to compensate guests or their visitors for loss, theft or damage.
SMOKING : Please note that smoking is not permitted in any accommodation, in and around the community areas or any areas as detailed by state law. Any breach of our no smoking policy in our accommodation will incur a $250 housekeeping fee.
SPECIAL NEEDS: Access friendly shower and toilet facilities are located within the park. See map for location. Special access accommodation is also available.
SPEED LIMIT : All roads in the park are shared between pedestrian and vehicles. Speed limits are walking pace only.
THINGS TO SEE & DO: Our reception staff will be happy to assist with any queries you may have.
TOUR BOOKINGS : Our friendly staff can assist in choosing the best tour and reserve seats for you. Most tours booked through our office, offer a complimentary pick up and drop off service.
Please Note: Brighton Caravan Park is happy to recommend tour operators and attractions in Adelaide that have had no due diligence in relation to the operating practices of these businesses and Brighton Caravan Park, its Owners, Directors, Employees or Agents shall not be held responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury sustained by any person availing themselves of the services of those businesses recommended by it.
VERANDAH: Please do not hang laundry on your balcony. For your convenience, a clothes airer is provided in accommodation and coin-operated driers are located in the amenities block.
VEHICLES : All vehicles (ie caravans, cars, etc.) that enter the park must be registered and be able to be towed at a moment’s notice.
VISITORS : All visitors must be registered on arrival. Guests are also responsible for their visitor’s behaviour. Any visitor that stays overnight must be registered prior to staying. (Fees apply).
WATER : Please help us to conserve our planets natural resources by conserving water.
WATER HAZARDS: Parents and guardians please note the location of the beach, this may pose as a water hazard to small children or other non–swimmers. The beach is clearly identified on our site plans and strict supervision should be maintained to prevent children and non–swimmers from gaining access. Brighton Caravan Park, its Owners, Directors, Employees or Agents shall not be held responsible or liable for any death or injury caused to any persons directly or indirectly through gaining access to the beach or any other water hazard in the park and Brighton Caravan Park hereby indemnities and holds harmless, its Owners, Directors, Employees or Agents from any actions, claims or other suits or demands which may arise.
WILDLIFE : As a guest you are welcome to enjoy the opportunities for interaction with local wildlife. As cute as they may be however, feeding the wildlife can be detrimental to their health. We ask that you not feed any of the animals.
EVACUATION PLAN – Please make yourself familiar with our evacuation plan in case of any unforeseen emergency. In case of emergency, please remain calm and follow instruction from staff. For after-hours emergencies only, please call 0447 666 990 or 000 in cases relating to FIRE, POLICE or AMBULANCE.
Our local police number is 131 444.
The following items are NOT ALLOWED under any circumstances:
- Illegal drug use
- Excessive use of alcohol
- Undue mess around site
- Undue noise
- Unregistered overnight guests
- Acts of violence or abuse
- Smoking in accommodation
- Open fires
- Unregistered vehicles
- Skateboards or similar
- L plate drivers and no driving lessons on park grounds

Note: Any caravan/campervan leads connected to our power outlets must be 15 AMP tested and tagged! The use of double adaptors is not allowed!
PLASTIC COVERS, CARPETS OR MATS OUTSIDE TENTS OR CARAVANS ARE NOT PERMITTED ON ANY LAWNED AREA. SHADE CLOTH OR SIMILAR IS WELCOME.

We recommend all guests take out Travel Insurance whilst on holidays. This should protect against the unlikely event that you may be forced to cancel. Examples of unforeseen circumstances: In case of bad weather (ie. excess rain), death in family, transport difficulties (ie. plane strike or flights being cancelled), severe emergency events (ie. flood, fire) – these are just some issues you may face.
Insurance policies vary between companies so take the time to research thoroughly to ensure you are protected against all issues that may be encountered.
