Visit Kingston Park, Gulf St Vincent, Glenelg and Surrounds

Explore the many coastal reserve trails surrounding our property and take in the sights and the rich history of this area, like the Tjilbruke Monument & Lookout which marks the beginning of the Dreamtime Trail. Take the coastal walking track to historic Glenelg, the birthplace of South Australia, for a spot of shopping or visit the Seacliff Surf Club or Seacliff Beach Hotel for a delicious meal. Brighton Jetty is an easy two kilometre stroll away.

The beach to the north of our park is sandy while the beach to the south is rocky and ideal for fishing and snorkelling. Your kids will love spending hours playing amongst the many rock pools.  Fishing catches include whiting, garfish, tommy ruffs, mullet and flathead. “Welcome to Kaurna country!”

Some 200 years ago, this is how you would have been greeted by the locals.

We would like to acknowledge the Kaurna People (Kaurna is pronounced Garna) as the traditional owners and custodians of the land that the caravan park sits on. We respect their spiritual relationship with country that has developed over thousands of years, and the cultural heritage and beliefs that remain important to the Kaurna People today.

The placename/suburb for Kingston Park in Kaurna language is Tulukutatangga.
